We begin with a vibrant celebration of local heritage, flavor, and community spirit in Motilla del Palancar, where the town comes alive for the Saffron Festival (Jornadas del Azafrán). Discover the secrets of Spain's treasured "red gold", enjoy authentic dishes, folk music, and the festive atmosphere that fills the streets.

Afterwards we continue to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Cuenca, perched on a dramatic rocky hill. With our official guide (optional), explore its historic old town, including the Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, Church of San Pedro, Mangana Tower, and panoramic viewpoints over the Júcar River.

Leaving Valencia: check the time in the reservation and please be there 10 minutes before departure.

Motilla (Saffron festival):

• 09:30 Harvesting, peeling, and toasting of saffron flowers
• 10:30 Esparto workshop
• 11:00 Workshops (related to saffron)
• 11:30 Ceramics workshop
• 12:00 Wine tasting, Bodegas Moratalla
• 12:30 Concert by the group Her Itage
• 14:00 Lunch: magro con tomate and dessert (popular prices)

14:30 Leaving for Cuenca. On arrival you can take the guided tour or discover the city on your own. We recommend the guided tour (very good guide).
