Membership

Thank you for being such an essential part of the VLE family!

Please note: The new membership system, along with all associated discounts, vouchers, free club entries, and member perks, officially comes into effect on September 7th, 2026.

Since 2007, Valencia Language Exchange (VLE) has been bringing people together through languages as a free, community-driven space built on respect, culture, and meaningful connections. To keep our events safe, high-quality, and sustainable, we are moving to a membership model. Here is why:

• Protect community quality: ensures our events remain safe, welcoming spaces for people who genuinely want to practice languages and make real connections.
• Shift in public funding: public subsidies we previously relied on have been redirected to local emergency relief, requiring us to become self-sustaining.
• Sustain top venues & staff: covers the rising operational costs of securing Valencia's best rooftop locations and organizing weekly events.
• Giving back to you: this is not for profit, it is for sustainability. That is why every membership includes €4+ in vouchers to give value straight back to our members!
