Hello hikers! The Mascarat Canyon is a ravine between the Sierras de Bernia and Toix that separates the Serra de Bernia from Morro de Toix, Altea from Calpe, and Marina Baixa from Marina Alta.
A route of medium-high level, where we can appreciate the strength of Mother Nature: the water created the ravine to reach the sea.
This natural barrier was a problem for communication between Marina Baixa and Marina Alta for generations, until in the late nineteenth century engineers built a monumental bridge that finally allowed circulation.
Discover hidden trails and panoramic viewpoints while walking with others, exchanging experiences, and practicing languages together.
