Sunday Language Exchange + Music at Madre

Imagine a Sunday at Madre, one of Valencia's most charming and lively spots, surrounded by international friends, the buzz of conversations in multiple languages, and the delicious scent of food in the air.

Whether you're a local, a traveler, or a new resident, this is your chance to mingle, have great conversations, and listen to music from all around the world! In fact, after the language exchange, anybody can grab an instrument and perform a solo or with a band, in order to express their artistic side!

The event is free, with optional donations supporting the musicians.

Cost

Language exchanges are free with a VLE membership. A drink is mandatory at the bar, which provides us with the space to host the event.

How does this event work?

When you arrive, you'll get a sticker to write your name, native language, and the languages you want to practice. You can then join a table, meet other people, and start talking in a relaxed, informal way, moving between groups throughout the evening.

After the language exchange, the night continues with a music session, where anyone can perform, sing, or play in an open and free stage atmosphere.

Is there a possibility to donate something?

Voluntary donations are welcome and go directly to the musicians performing that night.
